ERIC OPOKU AGYEMANG
Co-founder and Executive Director (Programs)

Eric manages the organization’s projects and programs including project planning, implementation and evaluation. Before joining this organization, he was appointed by the State House, Accra Ghana as a District Agronomist to manage the Ghana President’s Project on Oil-palm in the Kwahu West District, Ghana (2006 /2007). He also served as a District Project Co-ordinator with the National Disaster Management Organization, Kwahu South District of Ghana. He worked as a Headmaster (Principal) of Great Promise School Complex, Kasoa, Ghana and serves as the Financial Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS Kasoa Zone 1).

BRIGHT FIATSI
Co-founder and Executive Director (Finance)

Bright manages and controls inflow and outflows of all financial records of Cheerful Hearts including annual budget statements, monthly budget reviews, annual audit and fiscal reports.  Bright worked as an accounts officer at the Kwahu Mpraeso Government Hospital (2005/2006). He holds a position of a Finance Assistant with Alliance Media, Ghana.

ANGELINA SACKEY
Secretary

Angie is responsible for writing and receiving the organization’s letters, recording minutes during meetings, as well as helping orientate new volunteers and interns on arrival. She graduated from Aptitude Media with a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, and worked as a journalist with Good News FM. She iscurrently studying for a degree in Education (distance learning) with the University of Cape Coast.

FREDERICK OPOKU AGYEMANG
Finance Officer

Frederick prepares the Organizations financial accounts and assists the Finance Director in budget statement preparation, monthly budget reviews and fiscal reports. He earned HND in Accounting from the Takoradi Polytechnic, Ghana and ACCA Part 2 (Association of Certified Chattered Accountants, UK). He works as a senior Audit with the Owiredu- Yeboah and Associates (Chattered Accountants & Tax Consultants) Accra, Ghana. He headed the team involved in the 2007 audit of Metron Ghana Limited (Sub-contractor within the oil and Gas Industry).

FREEMAN AHEGBEBU
Program Co-ordinator

Freeman assists the Programs Director in organizing community programs or projects including quiz competitions, HIV/AIDS Campaigns, sports coaching and orientation tours. Freeman has worked as a Science teacher and an assistant sports coach.

GODWIN ACQUAH
Program Co-ordinator

Godwin works alongside Freeman and the Programs Director in organizing community programs or projects including quiz competitions, HIV/AIDS Campaigns, sports coaching and orientation tours. Godwin has worked as a Science and Social Studies teacher and an assistant sports coach.

LUCIAN REED-DRAKE
UK Volunteer Co-ordinator

Lucian previously volunteered for Cheerful Hearts Foundation as a teacher in a primary and a secondary school. He also assisted with our quiz programs, web designing, and sports coaching. Lucian graduated from Cardiff University with a BA degree in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting. Since returning to the UK, Lucian now assists with our marketing and co-ordination of new volunteers and interns from UK and overseas.

NANA OBENG WIABO V
Chief Patron
Nana Obeng Wiabo V is the chief of Gomoa Nyanyano and the ‘Oshehene’ (Chairman of Lands) of Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area. He is the chief patron of Cheerful Hearts Foundation and the proprietor of Royal Pillar International School, Kasoa, Ghana.

JOHN SAM
Patron
John Sam is the Deputy Director of Education in charge of examinations in the Awutu Senya District Education Office. He is the Director in charge of the West African Basic Certificate Examinations in the Awutu Senya District. He is also the Chief of Gyaadze Traditional area and is a patron of Cheerful Hearts Foundation.

FRANCIS OKYEAHENE ESSEL
Patron
Francis Okyeahene Essel is the head of Revenue Department, Valued Added Tax (VAT) at Accra Headquarters, Ghana. He earned a masters degree in NGO Management from the University of Cape Coast and a member of the Association of Certified Chattered Accountants (ACCA), UK. He is a patron of Cheerful Hearts Foundation.

VERY REV. DANIEL PERCY OMANANO
Patron
Very Rev. Daniel Percy Omanano is the Superintendent Minister of the Kasoa Circuit Methodist Church and is a patron of Cheerful Hearts Foundation.
