We welcome everyone who wishes to contribute any little amount to support any of our projects. You may not be able to sponsor a full project but your little contribution can help support the education and the healthcare of deprived communities, including children and orphans. You can also contribute towards our other rural community projects such as our Child Labor project, HIV/AIDS campaigns, school quiz competitions, IT training and the building of a new school.
You can transfer your money by Western Union. For the lowest fee, go to an agent with cash in hand as you will save nearly 33% depending on the amount of the transfer. Remember that there is a test question/answer required for Ghana. Contact us for the name to send the donation to. You will need to let us know the control number, test question/answer, sender´s name as stated on the form, receiver´s name as stated on the form, and the amount of the transfer.
We also gladly accept material donations including:
Schools – Educational supplies (textbooks, exercise books, pencils, pens, color pencils, crayons, mathematical sets, paper, erasers, chalk .etc), computers, printers, games, storybooks, poster colors
Hospitals – Health supplies (malarial medicines, antibiotics, analgesics, mosquito nets, stethoscopes, wheelchairs, beds, pharmaceutical products), dressing equipment (gauze, cotton wool, bandages, syringes and needles), delivery instruments, screens, beds, mattress and bedsheets, oxygen cylinder, blood pressure apparatus, digital clinical thermometer, weighing scales, autoclav machines, microscopes, refrigerators, laptop computers, printers, fax machines, and any other medical provisions and equipment.
Sports teams – footballs, kits (for practice and matches), training equipment (i.e. shin guards, cones, bibs, and nets .etc), football boots and sports sneakers/trainers, table tennis and volleyball equipment.
Orphanages and school children – used clothes, shoes and sandals (boys and girls aged 7-25), small toys, Music (CD’s, cassettes .etc), CD players, DVD’s, videos for the children
If you would like to send any materials to Ghana, perhaps heavier and larger size supplies; this can be easily arranged by shipping, and Cheerful Hearts Foundation will be happy to help arrange for the pick up at the port and the delivery of the goods.
Any donations that you wish to make, we will ensure that you are sent a report and presentation of exactly what your contributions went towards.
